the Spire
This spectacular
innovative live stage production of Peter Pan in the Threesixty Theatre – a
state of the art 100-foot high structure that is a luxurious
climate-controlled, world-class theatre-tent – takes you to Neverland in a
whole new way. Combining intimate theater-in-the-round, overhead surround CGI
projection, and actors in dazzling flying sequences forty feet in the air,
Peter Pan 360 brings J.M. Barrie’s classic tale to fantastical life.

premiere of Clarkston, the Wyly Theatre will transform the intimate
Studio Theatre into Costco—the heart of the New American West. “Steps
away from the Lewis and Clark trail, the lives of a fledgling writer and a
descendant of William Clark intersect as they stock televisions and cheese
puffs. In a story leavened with humor and compassion, these two young men
move toward an uncertain and unpredictable future, realizing that sometimes the
most important journey you can take is the one between two people.” Commited to

The most loved holiday
classic soars off the screen and onto the stage at The Majestic Theatre for the
third consecutive year. RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER: THE MUSICAL is an
adventure in itself, teaching a valued lesson that speaks to the misfit in all of
us. Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice,
Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph, all come to life in RUDOLPH THE
RED-NOSED REINDEER: THE MUSICAL.

Caruth Auditorium
Considered one of the
composer’s most gentle and poetic, yet complex, concertos, in which the piano
and the orchestra seem to converse through multiple musical themes, Beethoven’s
Piano Concerto No. 4 (1806) will fill the air of Caruth Auditorium.
Internationally
renowned Professor of Piano and Joel Estes Tate Chair Joaquín Achúcarro will be
guest soloist to the Meadows Symphony Orchestra. The program also features
Brahms’ Symphony No. 4, a monumental and compelling work of lyrical beauty;
premiered in 1885, it was the composer’s final symphony.

of Becoming Santa Claus graces the Winspear Opera House this

Arts Center
Illuminated with
dazzling LED lights to celebrate the holiday season, the AT&T Performing
Arts Center campus will hold a fireworks show and photos with Santa Claus, all
part of this year’s Reliant Lights Your Holidays. This free
festival includes a holiday concert featuring live performances by The
Polyphonic Spree, Bubba Hernandez y los Super Vatos, and cast members of the
national tour of Jersey Boys.

Downtown Dallas
Dashing through the
snow – ahem, marching through the streets – of Downtown Dallas to ring in the
holiday season, the 28th Annual Dallas Children’s Health Holiday Parade draws
in a spectacular crowd of 400,000 each year. A beloved tradition in Dallas,
this year’s parade will feature spirited marching bands, famous characters, magical
holiday floats, larger-than-life balloons and much more.

Arts Center presents Evgeny Kissin – An Evening of Jewish Music and Poetry as
part of The Classical Criterion 2015/2016 season. “Kissin’s musicality, the
depth and poetic quality of his interpretations, and his extraordinary
virtuosity have earned him the veneration and admiration deserved only by one
of the most gifted classical pianists of his generation and, arguably,
generations past. He is in demand the world over, and has appeared with many of

Shakespeare Dallas and
AT&T Performing Arts Center are dedicated to presenting staged readings of
Shakespear’s remarkable works over five years. The 26th in the series, Narrative
Poems, is a dramatic performance of Shakespeare’s two major narrative
poems, Venus and Adonis and The Rape Of Lucrece.
Believed to have been written while London theaters were closed due to the
plague and among the first works by Shakespeare ever published, these rarely
performed poems based on works by Ovid and focused on eroticism and matters of
the heart explore the guilt and moral confusion created by uncontrolled lust.

Broadway engagement in the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s history, Jersey
Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons makes its
much-anticipated return to Dallas. Jersey Boys is the winner
of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award®, the 2006 Grammy Award® for Best Musical
Show Album, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical and the 2010 Helpmann
Award for Best Musical (Australia). The award-winning hit musical is the true
story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks
became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time who wrote
their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records
worldwide - all before they were 30.

Crow Collection of
Asian Art
The Crow Collection of
Asian Art presents Asian Art 101, a series of monthly lectures offering an
introductory look at the arts and cultures of India, China, Japan, Korea,
Southeast Asia, and the Himalayas. Asian Art 101 lectures take place on
Thursdays; immediately following the lecture, an optional participatory gallery
discussion will be offered to guests from 8-8:30 pm. The series, spanning from
September to August, offers new perspectives on Asia and the works of art on
view at the Crow Collection. The course, which may be taken as 12 classes or a
la carte, will touch on Contemporary Asian Art, Folk Arts of Asia, and art in
the religious traditions of Buddhism, Confucianism and Daoism, Islam, and
Hinduism

PDNB Gallery presents
the first exhibition of photographs by Fort Worth photographer, Jeremy Enlow,
from his inaugural book, Cowboys of the Waggoner Ranch.
As decision looming on
the inevitable sale of the legendary 510,572-acre Waggoner Ranch in Northwest
Texas, this young Texas photographer sought exclusive access to the Cow Camp
operation behind the prestigious reversed triple D brand of the Waggoner Ranch,
the largest ranch in the United States under one contiguous fence. Enlow’s
coffee book gives a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of the hardworking
Waggoner Cowboys, bringing an element of reality to the forefront, debunking
the mythological folk hero symbol of the American West.

Seven For Parties
Created by employees
of Fossil Group, Works of HeART is a unique art exhibition and silent auction
showcasing original artworks - paintings, drawings, jewelry and more – that
benefits education non-profit Big Thought. Fossil Group has supported Big
Thought since 2011 by hosting the annual art auction and fundraiser. Big
Thought's programs put imagination at the forefront of education, making it an
organization near and dear to Fossil Group's heart.

Crow Collection of
Asian Art
Enjoy a day filled with
animals and art as you wander through the galleries and the sculpture garden to
see the animals of Asia that live in and around the museum, including two pairs
of lions and Pondicherry elephant. Then experience animal yoga, animal face
painting, and many other fur-ociously fun activities at the Crow Collection.

Highland Park Village
presents a holiday event for the whole family with A Village Holiday.
Highland Park Village is spreading holiday cheer and inviting the community to
kick-off the most wonderful time of the year with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hosting
family-friendly festivities including cherished photos with Santa, face
painting, balloon artists and special sips and bites.

Dallas Design District
Showrooms and
neighboring businesses in the Design District will host a family-friendly
outdoor market with local flavor and unique homegrown and handmade local wares.
Find holiday gifts while enjoying the smells and tastes of the holidays, and
bring all the kiddos for photos with Santa Claus and shopping at a poinsettia
pantry. All proceeds from the inaugural event will benefit Vogel Alcove, a
Dallas charity serving homeless children.

Lab Art Texas
Visual artist Preston
Pannek presents a new body of work in the form of nearly 50 paintings, ranging
from small scale to larger-than-life unified pieces. This exciting one-night
pop-up exhibit will feature paintings of all sizes on canvas using a mixture of
spray paint, latex, acrylic, oil and enamel paint and texturized mud. Inspired
heavily by the abstract impressionist movement and pop art while creating this
body of work, Pannek is a musician turned artist. DJ Sergio Zuniga will be
spinning throughout the evening during a live set that Zuniga has created
especially for this show as guests enjoy refreshments provided by Deep Eddy
Vodka and Topo Chico.

Officer and Co-Founder of MASS Design Group, Alan Ricks is an impact-driven
architecture and design firm focused on community design for underserved
populations around the world. Using design to advance a more equitable world
MASS centers its projects on research, policy, education, and strategic
planning that provide infrastructure, buildings, and the human and physical
systems necessary for growth, dignity, and well-being. Among MASS Design’s
major initiatives are the Center for Global Health in Uganda, medical centers
for treatment of cholera and TB in Haiti, and the Africa Center for Peace in
Rwanda.

Bastien and Bastienne is one of Mozart’s earliest works, a comedic one-act
opera that tells a tale of a young shepherdess, Bastienne, and her boyfriend
Bastien. Bastienne believes her beau has fallen in love with a wealthy girl
from the big city. Distressed about her plight, she runs into Colas, the town
"magician," who has a few ideas of his own on how to reunite the
young couple. Experience Bastien and Bastienne with the inspired young ones in
your life.

A Season of Stories:
Christmas at the White House 2003, is the third special exhibit in an annual series, which
follows chronologically each year giving visitors a glimpse of original White
House decorations and behind-the-scenes photographs and video from the Archives
of the Bush Administration.

feature artists Bani Abidi, Nadia Kaabi-Linke, Adriana Varejao, Synchrodogs and

Crow Collection of
Asian Art
This exhibition
examines works of art from the Museum’s permanent collection that present
artistic imagery and auspicious symbolism as design elements embedded within
sculptural objects with a functional purpose. These vases, chests, and objects
d’art are imbued with symbols and beliefs of the cultures in which they were
created. The artistic mastery with which they were crafted in lacquer,
cloisonné, ceramics, and metal elevates these objects to a level of fine art,
at once excessively superfluous and profoundly symbolic of enduring cultural
values in East Asia.
Perot Museum of Nature
and Science
Illuminating the
mesmerizing world of plants and animals that glow from the deepest parts of the
ocean and beyond, this exhibit will move guests through a series of re-created
environments to explore bioluminescence – the production and emission of light
by extraordinary organisms.
Dallas Arboretum and
Botanical Gardens
Dallas’ newest holiday
tradition at The Arboretum features the return of the magnificent12 Days of
Christmas outdoor exhibit and The Artistry of the Nativity at
the DeGolyer House. Twelve elaborate 25-foot-tall Victorian gazebos encased in
glass are filled with the charming costumed characters, whimsical animals and
winter scenes made famous by the beloved Christmas carol. New this year is half
a million dazzling lights scattered throughout the garden and sweeping
landscape.
