Well, Dallas/Fort Worth has officially been declared the "Happiest" City among America's top 10 markets by a recent Harris Poll.
According to the Harris Poll Happiness Index, Dallas/Fort Worth tops others with 38% of Americans in the city qualifying as "very happy," while residents in the San Francisco market are the least happy with only 28% qualifying as "very happy."
So what makes Dallas/Fort Worth so happy?
75% of Dallas/Fort Worth Americans claim their spiritual beliefs are positive guiding forces and 59% said they rarely worry about there health. Residents are also among the least likely to feel their voices are not heard in national decisions that affect them (67%). Relationships with friends adds to 90% of Dallas/Fort Worth's happiness and overall, 80% stated that they are generally happy with their lives.
Which city came in at Number 2? Houston, TX ranked second with 36% qualifying as "very happy." Looks like Texas really is the greatest state!
