#JFKDAY Carry The Torch 5K

Museum Tower residents have the opportunity to run and serve others in support of #JFKDAY.

Special Olympics Texas (SOTX) and the #JFKDAY of Service have teamed up for the Carry the Torch 5K, a special 5K honoring the legacy of President John F. Kennedy.



Run through Downtown Dallas and illuminate the night with your own LED Torch to symbolized the impact one person can make to "light the darkness" through an individual act of service. After the 5K, join the after-party and celebrate Special Olympics Texas.  Register for #JFKDAY Volunteer Opportunities taking place on Saturday, November 23.

About #JFKDAY
The President John Fitzgerald Kennedy Day of Service (#JFKDAY) is a Dallas County service event that will honor the legacy of President Kennedy on Saturday, November 23, 2013; the day after the 50th anniversary of his assassination. Thousands of volunteers will participate in community service projects at over 50 sites across Dallas County. May of Dallas' largest companies, civic organizations and educational institutions will participate in #JFKDAY.
