Kicking off the holiday season, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra presents Christmas Pops. A beloved holiday tradition, the Dallas Symphony will perform holiday favorites and classic Christmas carols such as “Mary Did You Know,” "We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Silent Night,” as well as musical pieces from your favorite holiday movies like Home Alone, Polar Express and Scrooge. Vocalist Jubilant Sykes, the Dallas Symphony Chorus and the Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas will delight your ears and warm your hearts with this wonderful and joyful concert that is sure to spread some Christmas cheer! Called Dallas’ equivalent to the Macy’s Parade, Children’s Medical Center along with Pizza Hut will present their 27th annual Children’s Health Holiday Parade this Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. More than 400,000 spectators will gather along the parade route and enjoy the marching bands, giant balloons, floats and festive performances. There will be appearances by the Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, Miss America and, of course, Santa Claus himself! For early risers, enjoy a plethora of free activities and performances in Main Street Garden, Belo Garden and City Hall Plaza. Celebrate the Holidays with Klyde Warren Park. The famous Christmas pair, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making an appearance for free photos. Throughout the day, the park will have holiday music, arts and crafts, face painting, and live reindeer. Food trucks will also be on site. Along with great activities will be great entertainment including a marionette show, brass quartet and a performance by Open Classical and One Day Band. And, to brighten up your night, the largest outdoor Christmas tree in Dallas lighting will take place at 6:00 p.m. Following the park’s tree lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus will lead the crowd to the AT&T Performing Arts Center for the Reliant Lights your Holidays event.

Not letting up on the Holiday cheer following Klyde Warren Park, AT&T Performing Arts Center is presenting a free holiday concert and fireworks show. Sammons Park will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland while the rest of AT&T Performing Art’s center campus is illuminated with more than 500,000 LED lights to jumpstart the holiday season.
