How would you describe your design in 25 words or less?
Using the Arts District as inspiration, we designed a home with simple yet refined pieces and finishes, highlighted with hints of color, leaving room for wonderful pieces of art.

Did you have anything custom made specifically for this home?
Yes, several pieces including the living room coffee tables and side tables on either side of the sofa, the Dining Room table out of Olympian Danby marble with multi cylinder steel leg bases, the folding screen, bed, desk and night table in the Master Bedroom and the platform bed in the Guest Room.

What was your idea behind the design for each of the bedrooms?
In the master bedroom, we began by addressing the feature wall. We fabricated a custom folding screen in an indigo blue linen fabric that spans the entire wall. We then added an allover patterned fabric to the headboard and base of the bed. The desk and night table were custom made and include indigo blue black painted glass insets. We finished off the space with a swivel chair to enjoy the views.

What was your design for the living room space?
To maximize seating, we incorporated a custom 10’ long sofa and three pairs of chairs, all vintage. We added custom round tables on either side of the sofa, along with sculptural Brutalist lamps and four coffee tables custom made to fit the space.
