Just in time for Spring Break, summon the spirit of the brave, medieval samurai warriors during your visit to the Crow Collection. While the aspiring warrior views demonstrations of traditional Japanese swords and martial arts, the budding scholar will find lectures and documentaries on Japanese samurai, while the dulcet and ancient melodies of the shakuhachi fill the galleries. With helmet design activities and Sudoku boards galore, the world of the samurai awaits you After Dark at the Crow.

This very special engagement will find Stewart Goodyear performing a one-day cycle of the complete piano sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven #NearbyMuseumTower at the Dallas City Performance Hall. The day will be broken up into three separate performances, with tickets available for purchase to any individual performance or any combination of the three. Dress in your finest whites and enjoy an afternoon of live music at the Van Cleave Bandstand. Costume contest at 2:30 p.m. for best “Lawn Party attire”—think vintage bathing beauties, walking whites and parasols. Bring a picnic or enjoy the Easy Slider Food Truck. Save room for dessert at Carnival Barker's Ice Creams or enjoy popcorn from our vintage Popcorn Wagon. Learn a few vintage dance steps with Elaine Hewlett from the Rhythm Room. An array of Model A Fords will be on display from Vintage Coach (also available for rides), so bring your cameras. Play a game or two of croquet and tour the historic structures of the Village.
