Puccini’s passionate and timeless masterpiece is presented in a beloved period production by Jean-Pierre Ponnelle and Peter J. Hall. Starring soprano Ana María Martínez as Mimi and tenor Bryan Hymel as Rodolfo at the head of an all-star international cast. This witty and romantic celebration of life lived “on the fringe” will be staged by Peter Kazaras and conducted by Riccardo Frizza in his company debut. This Saturday, grab a seat on the Southwest Porch and enjoy music from the talented Trevor Douglas from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Trevor Douglas attends Booker T Washington High School and is a singer, songwriter, musician and actor. A frequent performer in the DFW area and well-known for his pre-shows at numerous local venues, Trevor uses his guitar as both an acoustic and percussive instrument and loop pedal plays an integral role in his shows. His performances are delivered with high energy, humor and quite a bit of fun!

It’s that time again. The sun is out and the third annual Mudbug Bash returns to Main Street Garden this Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. #NearbyMuseumTower! Grab the family and head over to Main Street Garden where you will not be able to pass up that sweet spicy Cajun smell of broiling crawfish - the specially seasoned mudbugs are certain to make your taste buds happy. Spend the afternoon in the park where there will be 3,500 pounds of crawfish, live music, games, beer, specialty drinks and fun for the whole family to enjoy! With armadillo racing, a live alligator and even Cajun dancing contests, this is a Creole-flavored celebration you won’t want to miss.
