Falling in Love with Fall
As the weather cools down and the changing leaves mark the enthralling season of fall, we welcome soirees, sporting events and charity affairs. From luncheons to art benefits to black-tie balls, they all raise money for benevolent philanthropic organizations. Live performances nearby Museum Tower signify the start of the holiday season, like Tchaikovsky’s classic Nutcracker in symphony form. Dallas City Performance Hall
British born and of Bangladeshi decent, Khan is celebrated internationally for stunningly crafted works that demand the audience’s attention.Taking you to new and unexpected places through themes and exploration, his work is thoughtful, provocative and surprising. A masterwork of artistic alliance, Kaash is a stunning collaboration with famed artist Anish Kapoor and composer Nitin Sawhney.

Winspear Opera House
Love, lust and loyalty blend with political intrigue and romance in this action-packed opera, one of the Dallas Opera’s most popular productions.

NOVEMBER 17
Meyerson Symphony Center
One of Israel’s oldest and most influential cultural institutions, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra has dedicated itself to presenting the world’s greatest music to audiences in Israel and around the world. Founder Bronislaw Huberman created an “orchestra of soloists” who had lost their jobs as a result of Naziism. Now, under the leadership of Zubin Mehta, one of the most internationally acclaimed orchestral and operatic conductors of our time, the orchestra continues to absorb new immigrants, serving as a gathering point for musicians from all over the world.

Meyerson Symphony Center
Conductor Andrew Grams presents this holiday classic with a full orchestra as part of the Texas Instruments series. Tchaikovsky’s iconic music fills the Meyerson Center, and nothing else, so as not to distract from the sheer beauty of the sound.

Perot Museum of Nature and Science
Illuminating the mesmerizing world of plants and animals that glow from the deepest parts of the ocean and beyond, this exhibit will move guests through a series of re-created environments to explore bioluminescence – the production and emission of light by extraordinary organisms.

Rosine Hall | Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
Presented by the Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum, the Writer’s Garden Literary Symposium & Luncheon will feature authors Diane Dorrans Saeks, Meryle Secrest and Judith B. Tankard.

AT&T Stadium
The 20th Anniversary Celebration will honor the progress that WBCS has made over the last two decades and the members who make it possible. Featuring gourmet food, cocktails, casino games, a live auction, and live entertainment by Emerald City, this event celebrates the nonprofit that has been helping women-owned business flourish, facilitating and strengthening opportunities between women-owned businesses, corporate America and the government.

Fashion Industry Gallery
The art-chic live auction event improving the lives of abused children in Dallas through the trans-formative power of art therapy, drawing in 100 local and regional artists.

This 4-day festival at the Angelika, chaired by Tanya and Pete Foster with honorary chairs Margaret and Syd Carter, showcases films about the U.S. armed forces, followed by conversations with decorated veterans from the films.

Fashion Group International of Dallas presents a glamorous night of fashion, celebrating honoree Prabal Gurung with proceeds benefitting the FGI of Dallas Scholarship Program.

NTX Beer Week presents the 2015 Brewer’s Ball – the chance to rub elbows with craft beer elite. The ball will feature national and local breweries as well as bites from local beer-centric restaurants. Members from the Dallas Opera will perform traditional opera and drinking songs from around the globe.

Autumn at the Arboretum continues through Nov. 25th featuring the impressive and nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village – a collection of whimsical pumpkin houses made from a record 75,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash. A multitude of special events take place throughout the festival including a hay bale maze, a pumpkin patch, scavenger hunts, Mommy and Me Mondays, Tiny Tot Tuesdays, special music and more.

This season’s exhibits feature artists Bani Abidi, Nadia Kaabi-Linke, Adriana Varejao, Synchrodogs and Jason Willaford, showing now through the end of the year.

The Dallas Cowboys face off against the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles early this month at AT&T Stadium. What’s Thanksgiving without a Dallas Cowboys game? Gather the family to attend this year’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Dallas Mavericks fans, head to the American Airlines Center this November to cheer on your team against the Raptors, Pelicans, Hornets, Jazz, Clippers, Lakers and Nuggets!
