Meyerson Symphony Center
One of Israel’s oldest and most
influential cultural institutions, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra has
dedicated itself to presenting the world’s greatest music to audiences in
Israel and around the world. Founder Bronislaw Huberman created an “orchestra
of soloists” who had lost their jobs as a result of Naziism. Now, under the
leadership of Zubin Mehta, one of the most internationally acclaimed orchestral
and operatic conductors of our time, the orchestra continues to absorb new
immigrants, serving as a gathering point for musicians from all over the world.

Meyerson Symphony Center
Conductor Andrew Grams presents
this holiday classic with a full orchestra as part of the Texas Instruments
series. Tchaikovsky’s iconic music fills the Meyerson Center, and nothing else,
so as not to distract from the sheer beauty of the sound.
