After an impressively long hiatus, Dallas returned to TNT in 2012 with strong support from loyal fans. Though viewership varied during the second season, hitting 3.8 million viewers a week, 4.9 million tuned in to pay their final respects to the infamous patriarch of the Ewing clan -- J.R.
Ewing. Luckily for the millions of Dallas fans, TNT recently announced that 15 more episodes will begin airing in early 2014.
With filming to begin in the fall, keep a look out for Linda Gray, Patrick Duffey, Jesse Metcalfe, Josh Henderson, Jordana Brewster and other cast members shooting scenes around town. During this past season, a beautiful Museum Tower residence was selected as the luxurious high-rise home of the ever-scheming character Pamela Rebecca Barnes, played by Julie Gonzalo. Catch the Museum Tower-featured episodes with Pamela, John Ross and her wicked father Cliff Barnes.
And, the panoramic views from the Ewing Energy offices' board room clearly features Museum Tower in the Dallas skyline. Everyone on the Museum Tower team loved working with the production company.
Other Dallas area landmarks that have been featured on the show include the Omni Hotel, Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, Cowboys Stadium and, of course, Reunion Tower.
The 2014 Dallas season is sure to draw in millions and millions of viewers as fans cheer for their favorites and hope to see the "good guys" prevail. But, watch out for that John Ross Ewing......he may be following in his father's boot steps.
