Just outside the doors of Museum Tower, the beautiful 5-acre Park is almost a part of our front lawn. It's an important part of the city center neighborhood and with the new leadership we are certain there will be even more exciting things to come.
Everyone at Museum Tower extends our congratulations to Tara on her new position.
“We are so pleased to welcome Tara. She knows Dallas and sees the tremendous opportunities to make sure Klyde Warren Park continues to evolve as a special place for people to enjoy our great city,” said Jody Grant, chairman of the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation Board. “Her sports and entertainment background will give her the unique perspective to operate the Park as a premier venue that is free to the public.”
Green officially takes office in six weeks and, if her resume is any indication, Klyde Warren Park as made the right choice. Green was vice president and COO for the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee and most recently had the position of chief revenue officer for the American Airlines Center. Previously, she was also the sports marketing vice president for the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau for 11 years.
“I have enjoyed watching the Park come to life over the years and look forward to joining the incredible and hard-working team that has made its first year a success,” said Green. “I have spent the majority of my professional career selling Dallas as a destination and am thrilled to represent our city’s’ most unique attraction and help showcase it to residents and visitors alike.”
As president of Klyde Warren Park, Green will oversee construction, revenue to support the park, building community relationships and daily programming. It will be under her watch that the much anticipated Savor restaurant will finally be completed.
