Klyde Warren Park Opens Ice Skating Rink

Just across the street from Museum Tower, Klyde Warren Park is opening its long-promised skating rink on Friday, December 13.

Former Dallas Stars owner Norm Green and his wife Kelly are sponsoring the rink which will be open through the end of January. The 32-by-100-foot rink will be on the Ginsburg Family Great lawn.



Skate rentals will be free Friday and complimentary skate lessons will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. Those brave enough to face the cold can sign up for the free lessons on the park's website. Visitors will also have the chance to skate for free every Tuesday and El Centro College is sponsoring "weekly community skate day."  CBS Radio will make sure the music stays jolly and bright.

Hours of operations:
Monday-Thursday - 11:00AM-8:00PM
Friday-Saturday - 10:00AM-10:00PM
Sunday- 12:00PM-6:00PM
