The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes
The International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes brings this world to life as never before as you step into Conan Doyle’s Victorian London and work side-by-side with his legendary detective, Sherlock Holmes. You will become Holmes’ eyes and ears as he tackles a baffling new case in a world steeped in innovation and experimentation. Along the way you’ll see a dazzling array of original manuscripts, publications, period artifacts, film and television props and costumes. The premier concert series, Cool Thursdays at the Dallas Arboretum sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, will return to the Dallas Arboretum on April 9. Don’t miss this exciting new 2015 lineup! The series includes eight new bands featuring tributes to musical greats such as Elton John, Billy Joel and Buddy Holly. And you can still enjoy the crowd-pleasing favorites including Emerald City, Bruce in the USA and Le Freak, just to name a few. The lush lawns, gardens and fountains scream music festival especially if you throw in live art demonstrations, a dog park, and local vendors selling art, wares, food and beverages.

On May 16, 2015, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will launch Summer at the Arboretum through July 31. Under the canopy of the Pecan Grove, the focal point for the festival, will be topiary Flower Houses that create a serene themed village. Celebrate the beauty and excitement of summer with activities for the whole family and acres of vibrant color throughout the Dallas Arboretum.
