As part of the Farmers Market Chefs Cooking Class Series from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., locally renowned chef Grant Morgan will be demonstrating how to cook the ultimate Texas-inspired meats. You’ll leave ready to show off your new-found culinary skills with friends and family at Museum Tower. Tickets are $30 at the door to participate.

The city of Dallas comes together from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a collaborative day of reading, dancing, lectures and more at Museum Tower's favorite green space, Klyde Warren Park.
This year's theme for Big D Reads surrounds Charles Portis’ novel, True Grit. Show up in boots adn Western wear ready to discuss the book and the movie. This year's festival will feature a gritty grub, a stunning photo and poetry exhibit inspired by the urban grit of Downtown Dallas and a special performance by Howard Goldthwaite. The grand finale will be a free screening of True Grit at sundown.
