FARMERS MARKET CHEFS COOKING CLASS SERIES

Make the walk or share a lovely ride with fellow residents in Museum Tower's house car to indulge in culinary inspiration with the Dallas Market Friends, American Institute of Wine and Food and one of the very best chefs in Texas this Saturday. As part of the Farmers Market Chefs Cooking Class Series from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., locally renowned chef Grant Morgan will be demonstrating how to cook the ultimate Texas-inspired meats. You’ll leave ready to show off your new-found culinary skills with friends and family at Museum Tower. Tickets are $30 at the door to participate. 

Afterward, be sure to browse the offerings from the incredible vendors at the Dallas Farmers Market. Nothing is better than fresh produce, meats and flowers grown sustainably by local farmers. BIG D READS FESTIVAL: TRUE GRIT

Ready, set, read!

The city of Dallas comes together from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a collaborative day of reading, dancing, lectures and more at Museum Tower's favorite green space, Klyde Warren Park.

This year's theme for Big D Reads surrounds Charles Portis’ novel, True Grit. Show up in boots adn Western wear ready to discuss the book and the movie. This year's festival will feature a gritty grub, a stunning photo and poetry exhibit inspired by the urban grit of Downtown Dallas and a special performance by Howard Goldthwaite. The grand finale will be a free screening of True Grit at sundown.
