Visitors will experience their everyday urban environment converted into an interactive site for some of the world’s most innovative contemporary art.
This year’s theme, “All Together Now,” references the concept of synesthesia: a term describing the joining together of senses. The theme also hints at Aurora’s new partnership with nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center, and the coming together of the local and international community for the enjoyment of public art. VIP experience available for purchase including bites from Wolfgang Puck, open bars, VIP lounges, and entrance into the official after party at Annette Strauss Square.

The City is Booming, So You Should Be Moving

Booming with business ventures, the dynamic city of Dallas provides BIG opportunities for those in the know. The rest of the country is just now catching on to what we know to be true.

A strong industrial and financial center, Dallas continues to be an attractive city for bright-eyed business minds and CEOs. In fact, Dallas is ranked #11 in Job Growth and #15 on the Forbes List of Best Places for Business and Careers.

This month, the Texas Association of Realtors reported that Texas ranked second in the nation for relocation moves, second only to Florida. Almost 540,000 people moved to Texas last year, and about a quarter of them chose D/FW as home.

"Texas is not only a global leader in oil and gas production, but a national hub for technology, manufacturing and several other industries, " said Scott Kesner, chairman of the Texas Association of Realtors. "The Lone Star state continues to be a great place to live as well as start a business, and the more than half a million people who move here every year are proof of that."

With throngs of people are moving into the city, condos in Dallas are increasingly becoming more sought after. Museum Tower offers a luxurious lifestyle and exclusivity in a booming downtown area of culture, arts and business. Opportunities abound for investments in this business capital, so why not invest in a home in the heart of it all?

STATE FAIR IN STYLE

It’s that time of year! Time to celebrate a Texas classic –– the State Fair of Texas— and enjoy the start of fall festivities.

New this year:
Illumination Sensation will illuminate the fountains at Fair Park’s esplanade and the sky above with fireworks and other visual wizardry… in a light show so spectacular, you’ll think you’re dreaming, thanks to the show’s sponsor, Mattress Firm.
Lone Star Horse Spectacular: An equestrian tribute at the Pan Am Arena celebrating our state’s rich history
A historical narrative of the six flags flown over Texas since 1519, weaved into performance, music, and horse-led pageantry.

During the last weekend of the Fair (Oct. 17th & 18th), more than 70 Texan breweries will make up the Craft Beer Festival held inside the cotton bowl. You can sip and socialize with local brew masters by the pint, or opt for the full festival experience with a selection of Dallas-Fort Worth’s homegrown brews.

Every year boasts new deep-fried delicacies! The chicken-fried lobster tail, served with lemon-butter champagne gravy, comes in as the most expensive food item at the Fair this year. Campfire classic meets the State Fair of Texas with the S’mores Beer… Sweet caramel notes, a touch of vanilla, rich chocolate and a marshmallow dress us up this milk stout beer. The Pumpkin Spice Donut Chip, served with ice cream and cinnamon candied maple bacon, combines all the flavors of fall into a decadent dessert.

John Stamos joined the Beach Boys for a surprise appearance at the L.A. county fair – we can only hope he’ll show up at the State Fair of Texas. Regardless, you can catch the Beach Boys on Oct. 11th.

With quick access to Woodall Rogers Freeway, you’re just 4 miles away from State Fair grounds at Museum Tower.
